Proarc 7.5 is on its way and we have a sneak peek for you! Some highlights of the Proarc 7.5 release include an integrated collaboration solution, massive gains in efficiency for intensive document processes, and search performance enhancements.
With Proarc 7.5, Proarc Collaboration Room will be available to Proarc Online customers as an optional add-on.
Proarc Collaboration Room provides a secure, separate online environment, integrated with Proarc Online, where you can invite supplier users to work on specific documents and workflows. This avoids uncontrolled copies of documents circulating via email, and controls external reviews on official document revisions.

Using configurable mappings, the solution seamlessly synchronizes documents and comments and triggers workflows between systems.
Working with lists of documents is among the most intensive daily operations for Proarc power users. Lists are essential for everyday planning, development, and distribution. Proarc 7.5 now offers a Document Lists feature that can save an hour or more each day for critical activities such as client delivery, supplier requirements, and work packaging.
Building upon time saving Proarc features such as Favourite Documents, Recent Documents, and Checked Out Files, Proarc Document Lists allow you to create and retain multiple lists of documents so that you can build up your own document lists, with selected documents from different sources, by dragging and dropping documents from other lists into the new document list.
Download Metadata and Files for Set of Documents to Use Outside of Proarc
The new Mass Export feature provides one-click generation of a set of documents, including all related files and metadata, that can be shared outside of Proarc.
Supporting large document sets, such as those used in offshore installations, Mass Export has configurable templates for defining export locations and layouts in comma-separated value (CSV) files. Metadata can be updated on the exported documents to 'tag' which documents have been exported for a specific purpose. An optional document lock and unlock option prevents changes in Proarc Online where documents are used in an external project. The configurable layouts can be used to import the documents and metadata when users are ready to return them to Proarc.
ProView Markup, the add-on for annotating files, now provides flexible custom stamps for engineers to satisfy each of your client’s unique requirements.
Your administrators can create a library of stamps with imported SVG images and dynamic variables to insert Proarc metadata and user-entered values.
User-defined stamps can contain system variables like Document Number, Revision, User Name, etc., and free text variables that are added by the user when the stamp is added to the PDF.
Proarc Planning, the add-on for planning, calculating, and reporting progress on documents, saves you time by auto-calculating forecast dates for subsequent milestones when you manually update a forecast date. With the new auto-forecasting feature, forecast dates in subsequent milestones will be automatically updated when changing a forecast date on a document. The forecast dates will be calculated based on the difference between the original forecast date and the new date. Several documents can be updated in one operation by using copy/paste.
Proarc 7.5 extends achievements in the last feature pack for faster searching. Flattening of permissions and improved information storage in the database are now applied to the Global Quick Search feature.
