The Proarc User Association — a long-established, active community of Proarc users with a keen interest in the success of Proarc EDMS — assembled nearly 100 delegates from numerous companies for the Proarc User Group Conference 2024. Hosted in Bergen, Norway on April 18th and 19th, end users, team leaders, and product developers gathered to share their experiences and discuss their business priorities for Proarc EDMS.
Day one proceedings were highlighted by a plenary session by Norske tog, who described the importance of Proarc in the acquisition, operation, maintenance, and refurbishment of their fleet of trains. Norske tog also outlined how they integrated Proarc with SAP maintenance tasks and materials records.

Ascertra presented an overview of Proarc product plans with innovative new features in areas such as collaboration, artificial intelligence (AI), and cloud technologies, and outlined product development processes to drive software quality.
The delegates then divided into group roundtable discussions on topics including integration, collaboration, experiences with Proarc 7, migration to a cloud-based system, and administration practices.
A panel of experts, consisting of representatives from three different companies, fielded questions on project information management strategies.
The morning of the second day featured a special guest speaker: Ingvild Tennfjord, Norway's most-read wine journalist, who helped us recall the joy of using our noses to experience the wonders of wine.
DOF Group then described their journey from their on-premise version of Proarc to the latest Cloud version of Proarc Online, and how it enables them to focus on their offshore vessels and subsea services instead of software infrastructure and IT.

The event wrapped up with senior Ascertra consultants offering recommended configurations, plug-ins, and best practices for achieving the most value from Proarc EDMS software.
